Undergraduates are almost always welcome to pursue undergraduate research in our laboratory.  A strong background in science and mathematics, analytical and writing skills, the ability to work in a team, a willingness to work hard, and enthusiasm are required. The ability to take a joke and have some fun certainly helps, too. In general, undergraduate students are paired with a graduate student or postdoctoral scholar as a mentor, generally in field and laboratory projects. Depending on funding status and time of year, students generally receive academic credit or pay for their work. If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact the group!
